WWE is very popular in India, and the Superstars have a massive fan following. One can say that along with cricket, kabaddi and football, the Indian audience loves to watch WWE. Many fans watch both cricket and WWE, so they were quick to notice that a lookalike of Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya wrestles on WWE NXT 2.0.

The wrestler’s name is Carmelo Hayes. In one of the photos that has gone viral on social media, fans can notice the similarity between his and Hardik Pandya’s look.

Hardik is one of the best all-rounders in the world right now. He played for India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2016, ICC Champions Trophy 2017, ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Unfortunately, due to fitness issues, he has not played any international matches in the year 2022.

Speaking more about Pandya’s career, the all-rounder has achieved a lot of success in the IPL. He won the IPL championship four times with the Mumbai Indians before switching to the Gujarat Titans this year. Pandya is all set to lead the Titans in IPL 2022. Here’s what Indian chief selector Chetan Sharma said about Hardik recently:

“Definitely, Hardik was a very important part of the Indian team. But now after the injuries, we’ll say that until he isn’t 100% fit, until we get that information that he’s ready to go, is bowling, and is match fit.”

Carmelo Hayes began trending on Twitter after fans noticed the similarity between the two stars. The WWE NXT Superstar also expressed his gratitude to the Indian all-rounder with a special tweet. Before also fans noticed that Kuldeep Yadav and Binura Fernando have similar looks, and nowhere are the top Twitter reactions to Hardik’s looaklike.
