Pakistan‘s national cricket team ran through terrible performances in the last three T20Is. Earlier, they lost to Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup. After that, they once again lost to the same opponent in the finals of the Asia Cup.

Currently, England players are in Pakistan to play a long T20I series. The first of the seven-match T20I series ended in favour of the Three Lions. Moeen Ali and Co beat Babar Azam and Co by 6 wickets to take the first lead in the series.

Meanwhile, the second T20I is taking place at National Stadium in Karachi. It remains to be seen which team will come through with flying colours in the second T20I.

Talking about the game, England’s interim captain Moeen Ali won the toss and chose to open the face of the bat first. Philips Salt and Alex Hales got off to a rollicking start before Shahnawaz Dahani dismissed both Alex Hales (26) and Dawid Malan (0).

Haris Rauf castles the stumps

England found support in the form of Philip Salt and Ben Duckett. The duo did take the game away from the opposition by adding a 53-run partnership for the third wicket.

Meanwhile, Haris Rauf provided a breakthrough by making a mess of Salt’s stumps. Philip Salt returned to the dugout after scoring 30 off 27 balls. He smacked 1 four and a six to his name.

Pakistan’s bowling efforts are well and truly appreciated, especially after losing the T20I opener. They are giving it all to restrict England to a decent total and hoping to chase it down.
