Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has been in imperious form of late. The right-handed batsman who was out of form for over three years rose from the ashes to let this bat do the talking in the Asia Cup 2022 tournament.

The Indian batting great scored a marvellous century against Afghanistan cricket team in the Super 4 stage fixture, in what was also his first-ever hundred in Twenty20 Internationals.

In the process, Virat Kohli went on to end his century drought after a massive gap of 1012 days. The 34-year-old stuck to his imperious form even in the ongoing edition of the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2022.

Virat Kohli started the tournament on a grand note by scoring a match-winning 82* against Pakistan. He constructed his innings with the help of six boundaries and four sixes off just 52 balls at MCG.

Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer Brett Lee has a message for the former Indian captain Virat Kohli. Brett Lee reckons that if Kohli can maintain his fitness levels, he sees no reason why Kohli can’t match Sachin‘s legendary tally of 100 international centuries.

Virat Kohli has smashed 71 centuries in international circuit and if he manages to score 10 centuries in a year, he has a great chance to match or even go past Sachin Tendulkar’s overall tally of 100 hundreds. Virat Kohli turned 34 just a few days ago and still has some more years of cricket left in him.
