The first of the three-match historic Test series between Pakistan and England is currently taking place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. The Test series opener made the headlines for strange reasons.

On the other hand, the England players thoroughly enjoyed batting on the surface as the balls were coming so nicely onto their bats on the first day of the Rawalpindi Test match.
Bad light stopped play on Day 1 of the Rawalpindi Test match
England batters made use of their tools and resources to better effect and scripted history by becoming the first team to score 500 runs on the first day of the Test match.
The game witnessed four batters from the England cricket team scoring a century apiece. Zak Crawley scripted history by scoring the century off 83 balls, in what was the fastest Test ton by an England opener.
Zak Crawley was the pick of the batters for England on Day 1 as he top-scored with 122 off 111 balls including 21 boundaries. On the other hand, Ben Duckett scored 107 off 110 balls including 15 boundaries.
England’s wicketkeeper-batsman Ollie Pope scored 108 off 104 balls including 14 fours. Harry Brook scored an unbeaten 101 off just 81 balls with the help of 14 boundaries and two sixes to his name.
On the other hand, England’s Test captain Ben Stokes scored an unbeaten 34 off just 15 balls. The all-rounder smacked as many as 6 fours and a six to his name at a strike rate of 226.67.
Harry Brook and Ben Stokes remain unbeaten at the crease as England posted a staggering total of 506/4 in 75 overs as bad light stopped the passage of play.
