Ben Stokes confirms he will be available for IPL 2023

Chennai Super Kings broke the bank and recruited the services of the experienced Ben Stokes for INR 16.25 crore, which is the highest-ever signing made by the CSK franchise in their history.

Meanwhile, according to The Cricketer, Ben Stokes will feature for CSK in the upcoming season of the IPL. England’s Test captain, on Tuesday, confirmed that he will be available for the CSK matches in the IPL 2023 despite a knee issue.

The all-rounder added that he has been working hard with the physios and the medics attempting to get himself to a position where he can fulfil his role as a complete cricketer as he has delivered the goods for the team in the last decade.

Ben Stokes’ statement is indeed a big boost to CSK and its supporters. The all-rounder is seen as the future captain of CSK. Having played 43 games in the IPL, Stokes scored 920 runs including 2 tons and 2 fifties.

He registered his personal best score of an unbeaten 107*. On the other hand, he has taken 28 wickets to his name, registering his best bowling figures of 3/15.
