Pakistan faces back-to-back defeats in the T20 World Cup 2022

Nothing is going in Pakistan’s favour in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. They came into the tournament with huge expectations but it hasn’t been a fruitful outing for them so far in the tournament.

They kick-started their campaign against arch-rivals India in Melbourne. They showed great fight but couldn’t handle the pressure well as they suffered a disappointing 5-wicket loss to bag their first loss of the event.

It was expected that they would be made a strong comeback as they were slated to lock horns against Zimbabwe. But in a disappointing turn of events, they came under huge pressure and succumbed as they suffered a 1-run loss.

The loss against Zimbabwe not only dented their chances of qualifying for the semi-final but it might also have put them on the back foot mentally. Pakistan now needs to win all their games and wants other results to go their way in order to qualify.
