Virat Kohli is a serial run-scorer and has achieved almost impossible things in the game. Hence, often, fans and even some experts call him the GOAT (greatest of All Time) of cricket. However, the right-handed batter has dissociated himself from the tag. Instead, he named two other cricketers who are fitting of the honour. Here, we take a look as Virat Kohli names the real GOAT’s of cricket.

On Star Sports, when asked if he is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT), Virat Kohli responded, “No I don’t consider myself as the goat of Cricket. I consider only two people who qualify for that – Sachin Tendulkar & Sir Vivian Richards“.
Well, that is a very humble gesture by Virat Kohli. The former Indian skipper has always been vocal about his liking for Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Vivian Richards. Hence, it was not surprising to see him make this comment.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has been in stunning form in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Coming into the tournament, the player displayed good form. He had scored a hundred in the Asia Cup and was looking in decent touch. However, not many expected him to pull off the chase that he did against Pakistan last Sunday. He was in top form and he took India home from a very dangerous situation.
Even against the Netherlands, the former India skipper scored a fifty. Although he started slow, he made amends for it in the end. India would need Virat to stay in the same form. The top order has a few issues and if Virat can maintain this momentum, India will have fewer issues to worry about. Therefore, the fans will hope for the same in the remainder of the tournament.
