Jonty Rhodes and Sachin Tendulkar are considered by many as two of the best cricketers of all time. They spent a lot of time together when Rhodes was the fielding coach of the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League. While Rhodes has now moved to the Punjab Kings team management, Tendulkar is still with MI.
Two days ago, fans witnessed an exciting clash between the Punjab Kings and the Mumbai Indians in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. The Mohali-based franchise emerged victorious in that contest as all-rounder Odean Smith picked up four wickets for the team.
After the match ended, players and support staff members of both franchises shook hands with each other. Jonty Rhodes met Sachin Tendulkar at that time, and instead of shaking his hand, Rhodes tried to touch his feet. The Little Master moved away from his position and had a laugh with his former Mumbai Indians partner.

While Sachin Tendulkar is the icon of the Mumbai Indians franchise in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, he also has his own YouTube channel, where he talks about the other matches that happen in IPL 2022. Speaking about Dinesh Karthik’s excellent performances for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022, Tendulkar said:
“Dinesh Karthik has the ability to play 360 degrees, be it against a spinner or fast bowler. He began to attack from ball one. He didn’t premeditate the shot, he waits for the ball and plays his shot.”
The Mumbai Indians icon concluded by saying that very few players in world cricket can improvise so quickly as Dinesh Karthik does.
