Team India had a couple of changes to the playing XI for the third game. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant were rested and Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad got a chance. Thanks to the good show by the finishers, India could post a defendable total of 184. With the ball, India took a few early wickets which made the job easy. Harshal Patel and Shardul Thakur delivered at the death and eventually helped India win the game.

Suryakumar Yadav has been in terrific form of late. He has started his T20I career on a good note despite not getting a fixed slot in the batting order. Against West Indies in the 3rd T20I encounter, as well, SKY was in good touch. He scored 65 runs in 31 deliveries and helped India get to a total of 184. The greatness of the knock is that it came at a time when India had lost the important wickets of Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer.
Amongst the remaining players in the batting order, SKY was the most experienced. Hence, he had to do well. While he held his wicket at one end, SKY scored runs in his trademark style.
