Fans on Twitter have wished the Indian Cricket Team luck after they departed for Australia to play the T20 World Cup 2022. They were also hopeful that the Men in Blue will bring the trophy home. The tournament will be played from 16th October with the final set to be played on 13th November.

Indian Cricket Team on Thursday (6th October) departed for Australia. They will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on 23rd October. Before that, they will play a few warmup games to get used to the conditions.
The Rohit Sharma-led side will be heading into the tournament on the back of a series win against Australia and South Africa at home. However, it’ll altogether be a different challenge for them down under considering the conditions
The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) posted a picture of the entire squad along with support staff. In the picture, all the players along with coaches and staff can be seen wearing blazers.
BCCI posted the picture on their official Twitter account with the caption: “Picture perfect. Let’s do this #TeamIndia. @cricketworldcup, here we come,”
