The game going down to the wire clearly shows what’s there in the offer when the Super 12 of event will take place.
The Super 12 stage of the tournament will kick start from 22nd October and it’ll also see arch-rivals India and Pakistan and Australia and England clashing with each other in the group stages. With the tournament already off the rollicking start, there are many speculations about who will be the four teams that will qualify for the semi-final.
Many fans and pundits have predicted their four teams for the knockout stage. India, Pakistan, England and Australia are favourites to win the tournament but it’s fair to say any team can upset anyone on a given day.
Sachin Tendulkar has also predicted his four semifinalists for the T20 World Cup 2022. Speaking to Cricbuzz, the former Indian skipper said:
“My semifinalists will be India and Pakistan from our pool. If Pakistan bat well I see them through, otherwise it will be South Africa. They are the dark horse in our pool. The conditions in Australia are similar to the conditions back home for them. In the other pool, England and Australia are the favourites with New Zealand being the dark horse. They tend to do well in the ICC championships.”
