“My prayers are with you” – Sachin Tendulkar wishes injured Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery

India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant met with an unexpected accident at around 5:30 am on the highway while travelling all the way from Delhi to his hometown Roorkee in Uttarakhand via his Mercedes car.

Apparently, Rishabh Pant was alone in the car and he dozed off for a few seconds before the accident took place. He accidentally crashed into the divider linings on the highway which led to a sudden explosion of the car.

In fact, Rishabh Pant who wasn’t wearing a seat belt quickly escaped by jumping off the car in the first place. There weren’t any fractures or burns on the cricketer’s body but he suffered wounds on his back and forehead and there was a ligament tear on his knee.

He was admitted to the nearby local hospital and has been seeking treatment since then. The doctors confirmed that the cricketer is out of danger and is currently being monitored by the surgeons.

Ever since the news of Rishabh Pant met with an accident broke out, wishes poured in from every nook and corner of the country. The social media portals were flooded with speedy recovery wishes for Rishabh Pant.

Cricketers, fans, PM Narendra Modi and well-wishers took to their social media and showered their love and support for Rishabh in the need of the hour. Meanwhile, India’s batting great Sachin Tendulkar wished the injured Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery.

The former Indian cricketer took to his Twitter handle and then tagged Rishabh Pant to wish him a speedy recovery. Besides that, he also offered his prayers to the cricketer.

Earlier, Rishabh Pant was seen in the two-match Test series against the Bangladesh cricket team. He scored a terrific 93 runs in the Dhaka Test where he composed his innings with the help of seven fours and five sixes.
