Many felt SRH would reach the playoffs in IPL 2025. However, that did not happen. However, the management must not make too many changes. They should back certain players. Here, we take a look at the list of three players SRH might retain despite poor form in IPL 2025.

1) Nitish Reddy

It would be a shock if SRH releases Nitish Reddy. However, SRH could consider it mainly because of his form. His batting skills seems to have declined and he could not contribute well with the bat. That said, he is seen as a superstar material. Hence, SRH might not let him go.

2) Kamindu Mendis could be retained despite his poor form in IPL 2025

Kamindu Mendis was not great in IPL 2025. However, he is a talented cricketer and he has the potential to become a superstar in the future. Therefore, the Sri Lankan all-rounder should be one of the retentions for SRH.

3) Simarjeet Singh

Simarjeet Singh could be one player SRH might invest in for the future. He has pace and could be an enforcer in the middle overs. Mohammed Shami might be released, and therefore, SRH could have him as the Indian pacer. Of course, they can retain the likes of Jaydev Unadkat to lend experience to the attack.
