Mitchell Marsh is now an important part of the setup. He is also seen as a future captain and might even open the batting. He is a good player of spin and this will come in handy in India. His aggressive nature of batting will go a long way in helping Australia do well in the campaign.

2) Tom Curran – Sam Curran

Tom Curran is one of the brothers from the 2019 ODI WC who won’t play in the 2023 ODI World Cup but their younger siblings will. The elder Curran won the ODI World Cup in 2019 but Sam could not. However, the young all-rounder will have a chance to do that later in India this year.

Tom Curran is not in great form and is not in the T20 setup, as well. On the other hand, Sam will play the crucial role of an all-rounder for England in the 2023 ODI WC. He could open the bowling for his side while he will also add depth to the batting at No.8. Having played in India before, his experience will be of great importance to the English setup in the World Cup.
