India’s chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was dropped for the second Test against the Bangladesh cricket team at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. The cricket fraternity was literally taken aback by the sudden change of plan.

Kuldeep Yadav who made a comeback to the Indian cricket team after 22 months let his performances do the talking in the first Test match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Kuldeep Yadav not only accounted for eight dismissals but also scored 40 runs to his name and ended up as the most valuable player in the first Test. India beat Bangladesh by a huge margin of 188 runs in the first Test and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Kuldeep Yadav dropped for the second Test against Bangladesh

On the other hand, Cheteshwar Pujara scored 90 and 102* in the first and second innings of the first Test but the man of the match award was given to Kuldeep Yadav for his all-round performance.

Shockingly, Kuldeep Yadav was not even in the starting XI in the Dhaka Test and it triggered several users to come up with their views and opinions on social media portals.

Jaydev Unadkat who didn’t play the first Test match owing to a delay in his visa arrival made his return to Test cricket after his Test debut in the year 2010. The southpaw came in place of Kuldeep Yadav.

It was indeed shocking to see Kuldeep Yadav warm the bench for the second Test despite proving his worth in the first Test match. Meanwhile, Team India won the toss and chose to bowl first in the second Test.

Bangladesh have scored 194 for the loss of five wickets in 61 overs. Mominul Haque was the pick of the players for the hosts as he scored a brilliant half-century after a series of low scores.
