It all started when the sports journalist posted an image of ICC showing the statistics of players with best batting average in the history of T20 World Cups. However, the average was calculated with a minimum of 200 balls.

The sports journalist came up with a caption to the post which reads, “Just look at number of matches of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan”.

In response, one of the followers tried to highlight the importance of Virat Kohli’s batting average as he wrote, “Just look at the average of Virat Kohli”. Meanwhile, the sports journalist decided to come up with a reply.

She wrote, “Look at number of matches Kohli played”. Perhaps she literally had no idea or clue whatsoever regarding the difference between the total number of matches played and the batting average.
