Cricket has become a national obsession in India. Be it Test, ODI, T20I or the IPL, the fans turn up in numbers to root their favourite players at respective stadiums. Besides that, there are countless fans who turn on TV sets to cheer for their teams as well.
In India, the craze for Virat Kohli is simply unreal. He is undoubtedly the best batsman in the world across all three formats of the game and what sets him apart from most other batters of this era is his sheer consistency.
As a batsman, Virat Kohli has accomplished so many great things and is only getting better over time. Currently, he has 75 international centuries under his belt and is only behind legendary Sachin Tendulkar.
The Master Blaster has scored 100 international centuries (51 in Tests, 49 in ODIs). On the other hand, Virat Kohli scored 28 centuries in Tests, 46 centuries in ODIs and 1 century in Twenty20 Internationals.
