Most of the IPL franchises have had issues with some players’ unavailability due to injuries. Meanwhile, Australian all-rounder, Mitchell Marsh will not be playing in the IPL for one week for personal reasons.

Mitchell Marsh is flying back home for his wedding

As reported by Cricbuzz, the Australian international is heading back home for his wedding. Earlier, Delhi Capitals’ bowling coach, James Hopes echoed that Mitchell Marsh will miss the next few games for the DC franchise.

While addressing the reporters ahead of the team’s clash against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati, James Hopes added that Mitchell Marsh will be skipping the next few games since he is getting married.

Mitchell Marsh hasn’t kick-started this IPL season on a positive note. He was dismissed by Mark Wood for a golden duck against Lucknow Super Giants.

On the other hand, he was dismissed for just 4 runs while playing against Gujarat Titans in the team’s second game. Delhi Capitals have already lost two games in a row and it remains to be seen how they will cope with the challenges going forward into the tournament.

Delhi Capitals will take on Rajasthan Royals on April 8 (Saturday) in the afternoon’s fixture at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won their opening fixture against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 72 runs. However, they lost to Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings by 5 runs in the second game at home.
