While the teams retained the top-performing players, they also released some top players who failed to deliver the goods in the last season. Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad took the bold decision by releasing Kane Williamson.

Meanwhile, Kane Williamson will head into the upcoming auction which will kick off next month. His recent form hasn’t been that appealing and it will be quite interesting to see which team will steal his signature in the upcoming auction. 

Meanwhile, one At a time when his stocks as a T20 cricketer is decreasing, it will be interesting to see who places their bet on the experienced campaigner. When one of the reporters asked him whether he will be picked in the IPL auction, given his recent form.

To which, the New Zealand captain said, as far as the IPL auction is concerned, he said one needs to wait and see how it goes because it is surely not up to him in the first place.

He further added that it is the people who make decisions about their team template and so on and that’s how the system works according to the New Zealand skipper.
