India is currently in West Indies for the full tour. The two teams will lock horns with each other in the two Tests, 3 ODIs and the five-match T20I series. The tour will kick start with a two-match Test series. The first game will be played from July 12th to 17th followed by the second and the final Test to be played from July 20th to 24th. The focus will then move towards the ODI series that is slated to be played from 27th July to August 1st. The five-match T20Is are scheduled to take place from 4th August to 13th August.

The focus between India and West Indies now shifts to the second Test match, which will be played on the 20th of July. The Rohit Sharma-led side pounded the opposition by innings and 141 runs margin to win the first game and they would be hoping for a similar kind of result in the second match.
Skipper Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who smashed staggering tons in the first game are likely to retain their place and open the innings for the team in the second game at Port of Spain. India’s new No.3 Shubman Gill didn’t have a good outing in the first game but is likely to retain his place in the team.
Virat Kohli a brainer will bat at No.4 whereas Ajinkya Rahane is also likely to retain his place at No.5. Kohli scored 76 runs in the first game while Rahane didn’t have a good outing and would want to score big in the second big. Although Ishan Kishan didn’t get the batting time he would’ve wanted, he will continue to retain his place as he kept well.
R Ashwin along with Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur is likely to be the all-rounder whereas Navdeep Saini and Jaydev Unadkat are expected to be the two frontline pacers in the team. The selection of Shardul might depend on the conditions. If the pitch will be spin-friendly just like the first game, then Axar Patel might play. With a hectic schedule ahead Siraj might get rest too.
