The excitement for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is building up. The 16th edition of the league is just a couple of days away from now. The marquee tournament will begin from 31st March and will conclude on 28th May.
Talking about Lucknow Super Giants, the KL Rahul-led side will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals on 1st April at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. They had a staggering campaign last year as they qualified for the playoffs after winning 9 out of 14 league matches but lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator.
It was a collective team effort from their end as almost every player contributed in some capacity and helped the team win the games. They have started their preparations in full flow for the 2023 edition of the league and are putting in hard yards in the nets.
Recently a picture of their skipper KL Rahul having a chat with the team hogged the headlines. The batter was seen explaining a few things to his teammate during the practice session. The season personally would be very important for him considering the form he’s going through in international cricket.
