Ajinkya Rahane, a veteran batter for the India National Cricket Team, has just achieved his full fitness goal, and he is getting ready to make his comeback to competitive cricket in the forthcoming season of the Duleep Trophy.

The player, who is now 34 years old, has been out for some time. He was last seen in action on May 14 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, representing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), before he was ruled out of the IPL 2022 due to an injury.

During the India tour of South Africa in 2021–2022, Rahane, who once captained Team India, was last seen in international cricket. He participated in all three of the Test matches that were played against the South African National Cricket Team, although he only scored 136 runs in six innings, for a dismal average of 22.66.

Following a prolonged period during which he failed to perform well with the bat, he was removed from the Indian Test squad before competing in a home series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.
