1) Sam Curran
Sam Curran will be at the top of the list for CSK in IPL 2023 Auctions. The English all-rounder missed last season due to an injury. He has been in fine form in recent months, including winning the Player of the Tournament trophy at the 2022 T20 World Cup.
With Dwayne Bravo having retired, CSK will need an overseas all-rounder at No.7 or No.8. This player has to specifically be good at the death with the ball. At the moment, there is no better option for CSK than Sam Curran.
2) Jason Holder
Jason Holder is one of the former players whom CSK might target in IPL 2023 Auctions. Considering teams with a higher purse will target Sam Curran, CSK could have to settle for other cricketers. Here is where they can look to buy Jason Holder.
The West Indian cricketer played in the initial stages of his IPL career for CSK. Although he may not give insurance at the death, with Holder in the line-up, CSK can work around him to field a suitable combination. He could also come at a decent price for the franchise.

3) N Jagadeesan
One stock whose value skyrocketed after CSK released him from the squad belongs to N Jagadeesan. He scored a lot of runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and is then continuing the form in Ranji Trophy, too.
Of course, CSK needs a backup wicketkeeper and also a reserve option for the top order. N Jagadeesan would be the best option considering his current form. Therefore, he can be a suitable pick for the team.
