The ball started turning from the first few minutes of the play and the pitch has offered 4.9 degrees of turn, which is so far the most in the series. As per the reports in the PTI, it is learned that the Indore pitch is likely to get a “Below average” rating from ICC.

However, if that happens the Indore venue will get one demerit point. If the venue is rated as poor and unfit then the venue will get three and five demerit points respectively.

As per the ICC rules: “One demerit point will be awarded to venues whose pitches are rated by the match referees as below average, while three and five demerit points will be awarded to venues whose pitches are marked as poor and unfit, respectively.”
