A Pakistani fan reminded Pichai about India’s performance in the first three overs with the bat. However, he got a reply he did watch the first three overs of the game. It needs to be noted that in the first three overs, Arshdeep Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were brilliant with the ball.

The Indian top-order needs to get its act right in the coming games

Team India has had to endure the problem of a misfiring top order in the last few ICC tournaments. Both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul failed to fire in the 2021 T20 World Cup, especially in crunch games. In the 2022 T20 World Cup game against Pakistan, as well, the duo could not contribute.

It is high time that the Indian top-order starts to do well. Although the middle order is doing well, even they could struggle at times. Moreover, if the openers do well, the middle order will get more freedom to express themselves. This would make the Indian batter more dangerous. Rahul Dravid and co. will look to make this change in the coming games. If it continues, it would not be a surprise if someone like Deepak Hooda or Rishabh Pant gets a chance in the top order.
