Since his return from the injury, Rahul has looked in good touch and has been scoring runs consistently for his side. He also has played a few match-winning knocks for India and would be hopeful for doing the same in the World Cup.

Rahul will be coming into the tournament on the back of two consecutive half-centuries in the warmup games against Western Australia and Australia. While it was an innings of grit in the first game, he displayed sensational power hitting in the second game to taking India off the rollicking start.
