On Saturday at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi, Virat Kohli scored his 1000th run against the Delhi Capitals throughout all Twenty20 matches. Kolhi started the inning with 999 runs, and he hit an off-side boundary to get 1000. He eventually became the first player to score 7,000 runs in the IPL.

In a Champions League Twenty20 match in 2009, when the team was called the Delhi Daredevils, he scored 24 off his 1000 total runs against them. Kohli has made ten fifty-plus scores against DC in the IPL, more than he has against any other team.

In 2013, during a match against the Delhi franchise, he scored 99. As the first inning came to a close, Kohli was run-out. His team ended up winning by four runs thanks to his knock. Today, Virat Kohli scored 55 runs off 46 balls, thanks to his five fours.
