Shikhar Dhawan’s returns are coming down every season. PBKS might need more Indian batters and hence, they must target some youngsters who could operate in the top-order in the future. If not as a finisher, Sameer can surely take up Shahrukh’s role in PBKS as an important domestic batter.

3) Shubham Dubey

One of the issues that PBKS had was the lack of a left-hander in the middle-order. Sometimes, Bhanuka Rajapaksa was played for this reason alone and even Sam Curran was promoted for this. This issue can be resolved if PBKS could target Shubham Dubey.
