Australian woman cricketer by the name of Ellyse Perry represents Royal Challengers Bangalore Women in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL). RCB recruited the services of the star woman cricketer for INR 1.7 crore at the WPL auction in Mumbai.
Royal Challengers Bangalore Women failed to get off to a good start this season. Having played two games, they lost both games in a disappointing manner. Currently, RCB Women are fourth on the table with a Net Run Rate of -3.176.
They still have a lot of catching up to do to get back on track. Despite the fact that they have key players like Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry and others at their disposal, they failed to bring the best out of themselves so far.
RCB Women kick-started their campaign with a defeat over Delhi Capitals Women. They lost the game by 60 runs before going on to lose to Mumbai Indians Women in the next game. Mumbai Indians Women beat RCB Women by 9 wickets.
Ellyse Perry picks both Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni as openers when she was asked to pick only one
Meanwhile, Ellyse Perry addressed the RCB media during a recent interaction. She was asked an interesting question by a reporter. The woman cricketer was asked to pick one opening partner and she was given two options namely MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.
While the fans expected her to pick only one, the Australian woman cricketer surprised all of us with a superb reply. She said she will pick both of them to open together so that she can watch from outside.
Ellyse Perry won the hearts of the fans with a sweet reply. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be seen in action for the fourth and final Test against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On the other hand, MS Dhoni will be next seen in action for the upcoming IPL which starts on March 31.
