The recently concluded white-ball series against New Zealand was all about Shubman Gill. The young batter was awarded Player of the Series in ODIs for scoring 360 runs in the series that included a double century and a century.

In the T20Is, he struggled in the first two games but made a roaring comeback in the third game as he smashed the highest individual score by an Indian in the shortest format of the game. He scored unbeaten 126 runs
