India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made a terrific comeback to the national setup by chipping in with stellar all-round performances in the first Test match against the Aussies at VCA Stadium in Nagpur.

Jadeja let his performances do the talking by bagging his eleventh five-wicket haul in Test cricket. Besides that, he went on to score valuable 70 runs. It was so nice to see him bring his sword celebration after scoring a fifty.

Jadeja constructed his innings with the help of nine boundaries during his stay at the crease. In the second innings, he went on to pick two more wickets and finished the Test with seven wickets to his credit.

Meanwhile, the star all-rounder is currently featuring in the second Test against Australia which is taking place at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The star cricketer achieved a unique feat in the ongoing match.

He accomplished a rare double of taking 250 wickets in Tests and scoring 2500 runs. Notably, he also became the second-quickest cricketer to accomplish the feat in 62 Tests.

Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Usman Khawaja to pick up his 250th Test wicket and in the process, he also went past the likes of Kapil Dev, Richard Hadlee and Shaun Pollock.

Usman Khawaja tried to play the reserve sweep shot in the hope of hitting the boundary. However, as it turned out, KL Rahul took a scintillating one-handed catch. Khawaja departed after scoring 81 runs including 12 fours and a six.

Ravindra Jadeja picked up his second wicket of the game by dismissing Australian skipper Pat Cummins for 33 runs. After that, he went on to make a complete mess of Todd Murphy’s stumps to take his third wicket.

At the time of writing this article, Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets apiece whereas Mohammed Shami took two wickets to his name.
