India’s sensational pacer Jasprit Bumrah made a solid comeback to his form and gave a blockbuster performance against England in the second Test match at the Lord’s Stadium. He stole the show not just with his bowling but also with his batting performance.
Bumrah was going through a rough patch ever since the World Test Championship final against New Zealand, where he went wicketless. The cricketer was receiving criticism from all the corners because of his form and poor performances. However, Bumrah bounced back into the form and turned it around sensationally.
The pacer not only contributed with the ball, by picking up 3 crucial wickets but also gave his career-best performance with the bat as he smashed the lethal deliveries of the England bowlers on the final day of the second Test match at Lord’s. He walked out to bat when the Indian side was in a miserable position, however, he formed an amazing partnership with Mohammed Shami and saved the day for India. He scored 34 not out and formed an 89 runs partnership with Mohammed Shami.
Meanwhile, the Indian side will be locking horns with England in the upcoming third Test match at Headingley, Leeds. But ahead of the tournament, Jasprit took a well-deserved break to spend quality time with his wife.
On Thursday, Bumrah took to his social media and shared a stunning picture of himself with his model turned-sports presenter wife Sanjana Ganesan. In the picture, the couple was all smiles as they posed for a happy picture. Instead of writing some long captions for the photographs, like how the couples usually do, Jasprit just dropped a red-heart emoji.
