The much-anticipated clash between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan will take place on Sunday (23rd October) at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The match is expected to be a high-octane clash as tickets for the game have been sold out and a thriller is all certain to take place.
However, the weather forecast has shown that heavy rains are expected on the game day and the match might even get washed out. The report also shows that rain is predicted in Melbourne from Thursday and also the temperature is likely to be cool in the country.
Both India and Pakistan would be hoping to play a full game as they would want to begin their campaign on high. The match between them is always expected to be a high-octane clash and when the last time they faced in the T20 World Cup, it saw the Babar Azam-led side thumping the Men in Blue by 10 wickets.
India and Pakistan are placed in Group B alongside South Africa, and Bangladesh and will be joined by the two teams from the qualifiers.
