Chennai Super Kings lost their opening encounter against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. However, they went on to beat the likes of Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians to win back-to-back fixtures.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals opened their account with a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, they lost to Punjab Kings in the next game. Sanju Samson and Co won their third game against Delhi Capitals.

Talking about the game, CSK skipper, MS Dhoni won the toss and invited Rajasthan Royals to bat first. The inaugural IPL champions lost the opening batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal for 10 runs.
Meanwhile, the likes of Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler picked up the pace by adding a 77-run partnership for the second wicket before Ravindra Jadeja got the better of Padikkal for 38 runs (5 fours).
Sanju Samson gets dismissed for a two-ball duck against CSK
Following Devdutt Padikkal’s departure, Rajasthan Royals’ captain Sanju Samson came out to bat. However, he had a bad day at the office as he was dismissed for a two-ball duck.
