The right-handed batsman made things much easier for Mumbai Indians with his quickfire approach. He ended up scoring 83 off just 35 balls with the help of seven fours and six hits over the fence at a strike rate of 237.14.

Suryakumar Yadav was named the Player of the Match for his exceptional batting. The Jio Cinema cricket expert Zaheer Khan further added that the way Suryakumar bats and the way he goes about his business, no field placement can help him in the first place. “They need to hold his bat from behind or hold his legs, he’s been batting like that,” Zaheer Khan stated.

He further added that every time when he sees Suryakumar play, it literally seems like the bowlers are trying to pitch the balls outside the off-stump. Despite the field placements, Suryakumar Yadav is still able to find gaps and smack boundaries when it mattered the most.
