If there is one team that has a scintillating winning record at home, then it is obviously “Team India” without second thoughts. The opposition teams have found it literally tough to decipher the challenges in India.

Whenever the teams come to India for an assignment, they give absolutely everything in an attempt to win the series. As it turns out, they hardly produce a good result as they end up surrendering at the hands of India.

While the teams have managed to win a game or two against India in the white-ball format, it wasn’t that easy for them to win an ODI or a T20I series. On the contrary, winning even a single Test match against India in India is indeed a tough code to crack.

It is almost impossible to beat India at home: Ramiz Raja

Team India possess an excellent record as far as the Test format is concerned. The fact that they have lost only two Tests in the last decade clearly indicates the level of dominance of the players in red-ball cricket.

Meanwhile, India are involved in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy series against the Australian cricket team. Rohit Sharma and Co got off to a sensational start to the series by winning the first Test by an innings and 132 runs in Nagpur.

They followed it up with yet another win in the second Test match as they won the game by six wickets. With that win, they have taken a 2-0 lead in the series and also retained the Border Gavaskar Trophy for a record fourth-straight time.

Meanwhile, Ramiz Raja is well aware of India’s dominance at home and also added that it is almost impossible to beat India at home. His remarks come after India’s consecutive Test wins over Australia in the BGT series.

The top-ranked Australian cricket team that remained at the No.1 spot in the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship for so long lost some points and ended up in the second place. On the other hand, India are on top of the ICC WTC points table.
