Rohit Sharma can become a better Test captain than Virat Kohli: Wasim Jaffer
Wasim Jaffer said that Rohit Sharma can become a better captain than the previous skipper of the Indian team Virat Kohli in Test cricket. Jaffer admitted that he did not have an idea as to how many matches will Rohit play in the longest format of the game, but he added that tactically he is one of the best skippers.
“Rohit Sharma can become a better Test captain than Virat Kohli,” said Wasim Jaffer. “He is one of the best captains and we are seeing the results of how they have whitewashed each series. It feels like the captaincy has come in the hands of the right captain.”
It will be interesting to see how the Indian cricket team performs in overseas Test matches under Rohit Sharma. The Indian team will play their next Test against England in July 2022.
