Promising youngster Chetan Sakariya made an impact with the ball in the last few seasons of the Indian Premier League. Having played 17 games in the IPL, the former Rajasthan Royals’ paceman has accounted for 17 dismissals.

The Delhi Capitals’ paceman registered his best bowling figures of 3/31, maintaining an economy of 8.08. His impressive performances helped him earn a national call-up but he played only 2 T20Is and 1 ODI so far.

He took two wickets in One-Day Internationals and just a solitary wicket in T20Is. Sakariya registered his best bowling figures of 2/34 in the 50-over format, maintaining an impressive economy of 4.25.

Earlier, Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary made it to Team India’s T20 World Cup 2022 squad as net bowlers. The duo tried their maximum best to keep the Indian batters engaged in the training session.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old paceman revealed what helped them open up with the team and make great memories. While speaking to Sportskeeda, Chetan Sakariya said Indian captain Rohit Sharma invited them to dinner during the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Sakariya further added that Rohit Sharma made them feel quite comfortable. Meanwhile, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was seen in cricketing action during the first of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh.
