The first T20I match of the series between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team took place last night at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where the Men in Blue lost to the Proteas by seven wickets. David Miller won the Player of the Match award for his spectacular innings of 64 runs from 31 deliveries. His knock comprised four fours and five sixes.
Miller came out to bat in the ninth over when the South African cricket team’s score was 81/3 at 8.4 overs. They still needed 131 runs to win the game, and Rassie van der Dussen was having a tough time in the middle. That did not stop Miller though as he raced to his half-century off just 22 deliveries.
Soon after, van der Dussen picked up his form and finished with 75 runs off 46 deliveries. The two batters added 131 runs to the total in less than 11 overs as the South African cricket team pulled off their highest successful run-chase and won by seven wickets.
Describing how the South African cricket team star David Miller played in the middle at the Arun Jaitley Stadium last night, Rajasthan Royals posted an edited photo from Cricket 2007 game, where hitting a six off every ball is very easy. Here’s the tweet posted by Rajasthan Royals:

David Miller credits his hard work for his success in the recent T20 matches
Miller was in stupendous form during IPL 2022 for Gujarat Titans and did the same job for South Africa. Here’s what he said after winning Man of the Match award:
“I think it’s a lot of hard work over the years. I feel I have been understanding my game a lot better in the last four-five years. While chasing, you need two players to play a part and Rassie played phenomenally well at the back end with some big overs.”
