Mumbai Indians are locking horns with Punjab Kings in the 46th game of the ongoing edition of the IPL 2023. Meanwhile, the game is currently being staged at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.

Mumbai Indians are currently seventh on the IPL 2023 points table. Having played eight games so far in the league stage, they managed to win four games and lost the remainder of the four games.

On the other side of the coin, Punjab Kings are just ahead of Mumbai Indians in the points table. Having played nine game so far, they won five games and lost the rest of the games.

Mumbai Indians have collected eight points and have a Net Run Rate of -0.502 whereas Punjab Kings who are sixth on the points table have accumulated 10 points with a Net Run Rate of -0.447.

Rohit Sharma asked Shikhar Dhawan what they should do after winning the toss

Over the years, the IPL has witnessed some pure dramas at the toss time. Either of the captains at the toss tries to have some fun. This time around, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma decided to have some fun as well.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and then asked Shikhar Dhawan what they should do. Shikhar Dhawan told they should be bowling first and hence, Mumbai Indians captain, with a big smile on his face decided to bowl first.

Earlier, Punjab Kings beat CSK by four wickets in the previous fixture whereas beat Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in the previous game.
