Royal Challengers Bangalore are one of the very few teams that are yet to win a title since 2008. They have had the opportunity to relish the IPL glory as they made it to the finals on three occasions.

However, they failed to cross the finishing line in all three finals they were part of. RCB do have plenty of strength, ammunition and firepower at their disposal but lacked the composure in clutch moments.

It is worth noting that Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis have essayed the most runs as a pair in IPL 2023. We all know how dangerous if they both get going and they have proved that time and time again this season.

As a pair, they scored 336 runs from five games. Notably, Faf du Plessis is the leading run-scorer in the IPL and is currently holding the Orange Cap. He has scored 259 runs at an average of 64.75 at a strike rate of 172.67.

On the other side of the coin, Virat Kohli is the sixth-leading run-scorer in this IPL. He scored 220 runs at an average of 55. Both Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli will continue to dictate the terms and dominate the proceedings in the upcoming games for RCB.

However, as a team, there is still plenty of room for improvement. RCB have played five games so far wherein they won twice and lost the other three games. They will take on Punjab Kings tomorrow at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium.
