5) Richard Collinge
New Zealand’s star bowler, Richard Collinge played an unbeaten knock of 68 runs while batting at No.11. The knock came against Pakistan in 1973. Pakistan had posted 402 runs on the board, and NZ was struggling, at 251 for the fall of 9 wickets.
Richard came out to bat and added 151 runs with Brian Hastings. He nullified Pakistan’s score, as NZ too scored 402 runs in their first innings. Ultimately, no team emerged as the winner, and the match ended up in a draw.
4) Zaheer Khan
Zaheer Khan, one of the world’s most lethal bowlers, is a part of this list as well. Strange, right? But Khan shocked everyone when he played a brilliant 75 runs innings against Bangladesh in 2004. He hit 10 fours in 2 sixes in the innings.
