The 54th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is underway right now in Mumbai, where the Royal Challengers Bangalore are playing against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dinesh Karthik stole the show in the final two overs of the RCB innings as he scored 30 runs off just eight balls. His spectacular finish helped RCB finish with 192/3 in 20 overs.

When Dinesh Karthik came out to bat, the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s score was 159/3 after 18.2 overs. Not many expected RCB to finish with a 190+ score, but Karthik smacked 30 runs off just eight balls, including four sixes and a four to help the Royal Challengers Bangalore set a 193-run target for their opponents.

“It’s a great deal to finish the game like this every time. It’s a plus point for us and he’s playing the role so well, that it’s a delight to watch. The ball is gripping a little bit.”

Giving his views on the pitch at the Wankhede Stadium for the match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad, Patidar added:

“Looking at the wicket, chasing 193 won’t be easy. It’s two-paced and it will only get slower. There was no pressure.”

It will be interesting to see if the Royal Challengers Bangalore can defend the 193-run target against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mumbai.
