Punjab Kings will be desperate to sign Arshdeep Singh back with the RTM Card. However, he comes in the bowlers’ group and by then, PBKS may not have the purse to afford a big price for the pacer. 1) Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals has a chance to use the RTM Card for K Khaleel Ahmed. However, there are other players such as Mukesh Kumar, Rasikh Salam and JFM who could also be in the fray. Hence, the franchise will have to be aggressive in bidding for Arshdeep Singh.
It is clear that the franchise needs a leader in the pace attack. DC will want to build a core for the future and this is exactly why they could target Arshdeep Singh.
2) Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals is one of the teams which could target Arshdeep Singh at IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. RR’s strategy has been clear. The franchise has their focus set on youngsters and building a core for the future.
Hence, despite having a low purse, expect them to go big for Arshdeep Singh. Rahul Dravid used him well and also likes the cricketer. If he comes to the franchise, the team will have most of their bases covered. Hence, it will be a strong unit for RR.
3) Sunrisers Hyderabad
Much like RR, SRH does not have a lot of money but they will definitely need an Indian leader in the pace attack. They have been very aggressive and hence, the management may not stop bidding for Arshdeep Singh.
He will add the relevant skills to the fast bowling department. T Natarajan could also be a choice but if Arshdeep comes earlier, SRH might go for him.
