For a few players, this hike was astronomical. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of four talented players whose salaries increased by 5000% for IPL 2025.
1) Dhruv Jurel – 6900%
The Rajasthan Royals batter is the player who will receive the highest hike as of now. He will earn INR 14 Cr for the next cycle and it can be said that it is a deserved hike. Dhruv has played for India and has been doing well in the middle order. The franchise wants to secure the future and hence, they have paid this amount for the cricketer.
2) Matheesha Pathirana – 6400%
Pathirana is one of the talented players whose salaries increased by 5000% for IPL 2025. One of the best bowlers in the league, the Sri Lankan cricketer will earn INR 13 Cr for the next seasons. He is the key to CSK‘s prospects in the next years and hence, this money was always coming.
3) Rajat Patidar – 5400%
Rajat Patidar, who will play for INR 11 Cr in the next seasons, was earning just INR 20 Lakhs in the last few editions. The impact that he has had, it is not a surprise that he has got such a big rise. The management also wants him to develop as a leader.
4) Mayank Yadav – 5400%
Mayank Yadav is also one of the talented players whose salaries increased by 5000% for IPL 2025. Called as a “Rolls-Royce” pacer, Mayank Yadav was the find of the tournament last year. His pace surprised everyone in the league. The Delhi lad has also made his India debut since then. He will be the leader of the pace attack for LSG in the coming editions.
