Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are arch-rivals in the Indian Premier League. However, interestingly, CSK has a few former MI players as net bowlers for IPL 2024. These days, franchises also desire experience in the net bowlers. This improves the quality of the practice sessions. 1) Kulwant Khejroliya

Kulwant Khejroliya is one of the former Mumbai Indians cricketers who are net bowlers for CSK in IPL 2024. It was way back in 2017 that Kulwant played for Mumbai Indians. After his stint with MI, he also represented other teams such as RCB and KKR. However, he could not do well in any of the teams and hence, he was unsold in the recent auctions.

Nevertheless, his recent domestic form has been good. For Madhya Pradesh, he was one of the better pacers. Considering the rate at which players get injured these days, Kulwant could still get an opportunity in the ongoing edition of IPL. For that, he might have to do well and impress the coaching staff at CSK.

2) Murugan Ashwin

Murugan Ashwin is an experienced leg-spinner in the Indian domestic circuit. Recently, the talented spinner moved out of Tamil Nadu. It was expected that he would don the role of a commentator for the ongoing edition. However, he got a chance to be a net bowler for CSK.

It is actually a good opportunity for the veteran. CSK does not have an experienced leg-spinner in the squad. Prashant Solanki is a rookie and has not had a memorable domestic campaign. Hence, if Murugan Ashwin can impress the coaches at CSK and if there is a player who gets injured, it will not be a surprise if the Tamil Nadu cricketer gets a chance to feature in IPL 2024.
