As per reports, Prithvi Shaw is set to be released by Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2024 Auctions. The Mumbai man was one of the retained players two seasons ago. However, since then, his form has not been great. In fact, he was even dropped for many games last season. Currently, Prithvi is recovering from an injury. 1) Sunrisers Hyderabad
Mayank Agarwal was unconvincing in IPL 2023. He was not able to produce the performances that he usually does. It is likely that SRH will release him.
With Rahul Tripathi also not showing the best form, SRH will search for an Indian opener to partner with Abhishek Sharma. Prithvi Shaw would be the ideal candidate in this regard. Working in a new environment will also help the cricketer.

KKR is one of the teams that can target Prithvi Shaw if he is released by Delhi Capitals. Just like SRH, even KKR needs an Indian opener. The team preferably needs a wicket-keeper as an opener. However, if a talent like Prithvi is available, they would be ready to take it.

3) Gujarat Titans
Gujarat Titans need to plan for life after Wriddhiman Saha. While KS Bharat is available, he is not in great form in this format of the game.
