Yuzvendra Chahal is known for not just his classic leg spin bowling, but also for his wit and humor and it was on display once again when he was interviewing Jos Buttler at the end of the game between KKR and Rajasthan Royals yesterday, a game which Rajasthan Royals won by 7 runs.

Both Chahal and Buttler played a key role for Rajasthan in that victory because Buttler first scored a hundred and helped Rajasthan get to a huge score of 217 and then on a surface which was really good for strokeplay with one side of the ground being small as well, Chahal grabbed a 5-wicket haul and ensured Rajasthan achieved their 4th victory of the tournament.

Yuzvendra Chahal interviews his fellow players while playing for India as well

Yuzvendra Chahal is someone who always interviews his fellow players after the games, whether he is playing for India or elsewhere and keeping the same tradition for Rajasthan Royals as well, he was interviewing his teammate Jos Buttler after the game where he asked Buttler what’s the actual secret of him scoring so many runs this IPL season.

Chahal, cheekily, queried if Buttler is worried about the fact if he doesn’t perform well as an opener, Chahal is someone who can take his place at the top of the order as a batsman. It was obviously a joke and Buttler answered that in an equally cheeky way as well.

Buttler jokingly admitted that it’s indeed the pressure that is there on him because of Chahal being in contention for the opener’s slot that is actually pushing him in training and pushing him to work hard to score more and more runs for Rajasthan Royals so that he can retain his place as an opener.

Jos Buttler has already scored two hundreds in the ongoing IPL season and is currently the orange cap holder with more than 300 runs. The England wicketkeeper-batsman had scored a hundred last IPL as well and in fact, in the last 7 IPL innings, he has got 3 hundreds to his name.
