His sensational knock helped Royal Challengers Bangalore get the better of Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets in the team’s first game at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, former Royal Challengers Bangalore stalwart, AB de Villiers reserved the highest respect for his best friend and former teammate, Virat Kohli by adding that the latter’s best is yet to come.

While speaking to a news agency, PTI, AB de Villiers echoed that the cricket fraternity is yet to witness the best version of Virat Kohli. Speaking on the same lines, he added that the RCB fans are going to see some fireworks from Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli is in a rich vein of form right now and he will be looking to capitalize on the momentum going forward into the rest of the season. Virat Kohli is already the leading run-scorer in the history of the Indian Premier League.

The former RCB skipper has already aggregated 6706 runs at an average of 36.64 including five centuries and 45 half-centuries to his name at a spectacular strike rate of around 130.

On the other side of the coin, he has scored as many as 584 boundaries and 223 hits over the fence. Virat Kohli will be looking forward to making his presence count in the ongoing season, with a view to leading the batting attack by example.
