With Dinesh Karthik having retired, RCB will need a new wicketkeeper for IPL 2025. Most of the capped Indian wicket-keepers might be retained and foreign wicket-keepers disturb the balance. Hence, the management might have to pick some talented uncapped cricketers. Here, we take a look at the list of three uncapped wicket-keepers RCB can target for IPL 2025.

1) Vishnu Vinod

It is unfortunate that Vishnu Vinod was ruled out due to an injury in IPL 2024. Considering the campaign that Mumbai Indians had, Vishnu could have had a long run in the side. Nevertheless, the Kerala cricketer can still get some chances in the coming seasons.

Vishnu is already quite experienced at the domestic level. He has also played a few IPL games, even for RCB. Since he can bat at various positions, he further adds value to the team.

2) Shaik Rasheed

Shaik Rasheed is one of the uncapped wicket-keepers RCB can target for IPL 2025. The Andhra Pradesh cricketer has been with CSK for a while now. CSK will have to get him back at the auctions and RCB can pose a strong competition here.

Rasheed still has plenty to work on when it comes to his T20 batting. That said, he has the potential to do that. He is already a fine wicket-keeper and would be a worthy investment for any side.

3) Abishek Porel

Abishek Porel did well for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024. When he played in the lower middle-order as well as when he opened the batting, the West Bengal lad looked ready for IPL.

He is a left-handed batter and it is rare to get players of such profile. Porel can develop further and once he becomes stronger, he can also do well with power-hitting. Therefore, there are multiple reasons why RCB must target him as one of the wicketkeeping options for IPL 2025.
